I would like apply Event Throttling settings in Central Admin to what SharePointLogger.TraceToDeveloper() logs. I have used one of the built-in categories "Feature Infrastructure" and the entries are appearing in the log files, but even when I set the "least critical event to report to the trace log" to be of higher importance than what I specify in the TraceToDeveloper TraceSeverity, the entries stilll go in to the log file. I have tried with other severity levels with that same effect. Is that something that the SharePointLogger supports?

_logger.TraceToDeveloper(e, "Exception inside a feature receiver", 1, TraceSeverity.Monitorable, "Feature Infrastructure");

Hi tomek_s,

In this release SharePointLogger does not support Event Throttling. But users can extend existing Logger to support Event Throttling.
